Young dancers to take part in English Youth Ballet performance of the Nutcracker Suite and Ballet Etudes

Three dancers from Huntingdonshire are currently in rehearsals for a professional production of the Nutcracker Suite and Ballet Etudes.

Tegan Slowe, 15, who is from Hartford and attends St Ivo School and Lauren Burford, 13, from Brampton, who is a Hinchingbrooke pupil, both train at the Generations Dance Academy, in Huntingdon. Emma Williams, 11, from Eynesbury, in St Neots, who attends Priory Park Junior School, dances at the Stageworks School.

The performance is presented by English Youth Ballet and is at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on March 24-25. It stars international principal dancers Adele Robbins, Monica Tapiador, Samantha Camejo, Brenden Bratulic and Steven Wheeler. All the soloist and corps de ballet roles in the production will be performed by 100 of the finest dancers, aged from eight to 18 in the region.
