Wood Green has cancelled its Wedding Fair next weekend.

A spokesman for the animal shelter said: “It is with regret that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our forthcoming Wedding Fair at Wood Green on February 16.

“Our wedding fairs have been successfully built up over the last seven years and have transpired to be one of the most popular fairs within Cambridgeshire.

“Unfortunately on this occasion our exhibitor numbers are lower than we anticipated and as a result we are not be able to offer visiting brides and grooms the diversity they would expect at a fair of this type. Therefore the regrettable decision was made to cancel the event.”
