A WOMAN suffered minor injuries in a car crash near Woodwalton on Sunday (January 6).

Emergency services were sent to Woodwalton Lane at 1.41pm after a silver Vauxhall Astra crashed into a ditch after leaving the B1090.

Firefighters, from Huntingdon, Yaxley and Sawtry, used specialist equipment to cut off the car’s roof to release the trapped woman, who was taken to hospital.

The car was recovered at 4pm.
