A woman was taken to Hinchingbrooke hospital after a collision involving a car and a van on the A14 this morning (Friday).

Police were first called to the scene between Godmanchester and Spittal at 8.19am, shortly followed by ambulance and fire crews.

The ambulance crew treated a woman who had become trapped in her vehicle before taking her to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for minor leg injuries.

Debris was cleared from the road by 8.47am and traffic delays were cleared by 9.40am.
