The Hunts Post is calling on Huntingdonshire to get on "Two Wheels for Woodlands".
This paper has teamed up with St Ives, St Neots and Peterborough cycling clubs, St Ives-based Wheels in Wheels Events and Urban&Civic to put on a charity bike ride around Huntingdonshire to raise money for the WoodlandsCentre's expansion.
Two Wheels for Woodlands, the Hunts Post's Charity ride takes place on June 29 - the Sunday before the Tourde France starts in Britain - and we are urging the district to show its support for the Woodlands Centre by taking part in one of the 100-mile, 60-mile, 30-mile or 10-mile family routes.
The 100-mile route is not for the feint-hearted and takes the riders from Alconbury Weald, where the rides startand finish, around the edge of the old county border to St Neots, St Ives and north of Ramsey.
More than 500 cyclists battled the summer showers and Fen winds to raise about £6,000 for the Woodlands Cancer Centre.
