Firefighters fought blazes in two vehicles in Huntingdonshire which started within half an hour of each other yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, February 20).

The first fire was reported in a lorry on the A14 near Spittals at 3.29pm and was attended by crews from Sawtry and Huntingdon.

At 3.55pm a crew from Stanground were called out to Sawtry where a car on the A1 was on fire.

Firefighters said both incidents were accidental.
