A group of travellers has moved from a council car park in Godmanchester after staying there for more than a week.

Caravans, cars and vans, including a trailer with a mini-digger on it had set up camp at the Bridge Place car park after being moved on from a recreation ground in the town.

The group left on Friday after Huntingdonshire District Council launched legal action.

A spokesman for the council said it was not known where the travellers had gone.
