There is still plenty of time to nominate a charity or organisation to win £500 in the Community Chest scheme.

The Hunts Post has teamed up with home builder Taylor Wimpey for a second time to give our readers the chance to support a Huntingdonshire worthy cause by nominating them by April 1.

From all the nominations, we will draw up a shortlist and invite readers to vote for the most deserving organisation.

It may be a well-recognised charity or a little-known organisation, it just has to be a group that has enriched the lives of others in the district.

Last year, the nominations were so good, we had a shortlist of 11 charities and organisations with readers choosing Dreamer’s Bar in St Neots as the winner. The £500 provided a lifeline to the popular café, run by people with disabilities, and gave them breathing space while they secured more funding.

INFORMATION: Send your nomination to email news@huntspost.co.uk with ‘Community Chest nomination’ in the subject line. Remember to include your name, telephone number, details of the organisation you are nominating, and why you think it should win.
