An Eynesbury man has started a 12-year jail sentence after being found guilty of sexually abusing
two girls during the 1980s and 2000s.

Dale Keeble, 55, of St Neots Mobile Home Park, Eynesbury, was convicted of a number of indecent assaults which took place during the 1980s and sexual assaults during the 2000s.

He had denied the offences but was convicted following a trial at Peterborough Crown Court.

He was arrested in May last year after the most recent victim came forward to police.

During that investigation, detectives were able to identify a second victim.

Det Con Karen Lunn, who led the investigation, said: “Keeble’s actions have had, and will continue to have, a devastating impact on his
victims.

“They have shown great courage to come forward to police and then go through the ordeal of giving evidence at court to ensure he was brought to justice.

“I hope the sentence sends a clear message that the passage of time is not a protection and justice will catch up with those who have committed this type of offence.

“I hope it will also help the victims start to move on with their lives.”

Keeble, who was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday, July 9, has also been made subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
