Somersham man jailed for sex offences

A Somersham man has been jailed for a string of sexual offences on two girls.

Rodney Pylee, of Feoffees Road, indecently assaulted a girl under the age of 14 between August 1994 and August the following year.

The 63-year-old also indecently assaulted a second girl aged under 14 six times between November 1998 and November 2004 as well was engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with the second girl in 2004.

At Peterborough Crown Court last Wednesday (March 19) Pylee was jailed for a total of five years.

Pylee was also made the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order which will run for seven years.
