Firefighters battled a blaze in St Ives after a shopping trolley and rubbish were set on fire yesterday (Sunday).

A crew from Huntingdon were called to the scene outside the Co-operative store in Constable Road at 5.59pm, where they extinguished the flames.

They returned to their station by 6.29pm.
