Young carers in Cambridgeshire were given a festive boost by the Rotary Club of Huntingdon Cromwell.

The club handed over a cheque for £300 to Carers Trust Cambridgeshire as the young carers were enjoying their Christmas party on December 3.

The party was held at the Huntingdon Youth Centre, in Sallowbush Road, with about 60 people in attendance.

The funds will be used to fund activities for the youngsters. Carers Trust Cambridgeshire provides support, advice, and respite for young people, to allow them to enjoy a short break from their responsibilities as carers for family members.
