Police have launched an investigation after discovering a cannabis factory in St Neots.

Officers raided an address, in Cambridge Road, in the early hours of January 16 and found 60 plants, at various stages of maturity, along with associated growing equipment. The plants and equipment are undergoing a documentation process and will be destroyed at a later date.

An investigation is currently ongoing, but police say that at this stage no arrests have been made.

A police statement said: “We will take action against those responsible for the production of cannabis. Anyone who suspects this to be going on in their neighbourhood should call 101, contact us via web chat, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
