Parents of children starting school in September have one week left to apply for a primary school place.

Cambridgeshire County Council has issued a reminder that applications need to be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday, January 15.

Parents can apply online at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/admissions or by returning a paper form, which can be collected from any Cambridgeshire primary school and returned to the Admissions team.

If applications are made late or not at all, there is a risk that their child will not be offered a place at their preferred schools as other applications will be processed before late submissions.
