Firefighters freed one person after a crash between a car and a van in Oldhurst yesterday evening.

One crew from Huntingdon and one crew from Ramsey were called to the accident on St Ives Road at 6.43pm, where one person had already been released.

Two ambulances rushed to the scene where they treated a man in his 50s for a minor back injury before taking him to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The second patient did not require hospital treatment.
