Man in 20s suffers serious injuries in motorbike crash near St Neots

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash near St Neots yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

The Herts Air Ambulance was scrambled shortly before 5pm to Great North Road, Little Paxton, after the man, in his 20s, crashed.

He suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, to his back, pelvis and legs. The air ambulance flew him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Cambridgeshire police closed the A1 southbound off road until 6.38pm.
