Man dies after tractor crash underneath A1 at Alconbury

A man died after a tractor crashed into an underpass at Alconbury,

The accident happened at about 5.45pm on Friday (August 1) on the B1043 where is passes underneath the A1.

Emergency services which attended the scene said the man had become trapped but was released by firefighters and taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with severe injuries.

However, Cambridgeshire police said on Saturday that the man had died.

INFORMATION: Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police on 101.
