Woman, 60, breaks leg on bus journey to St Ives

A WOMAN has broken her leg after falling on a bus on the way to St Ives.

Magpas Helimedix Doctor Nick Foster and paramedic Simeon Tomlinson were sent to St Ives Park and Ride at 12.05pm to treat the injured woman, in her 60s.

The Magpas team administered pain relief, antibiotics and anti-sickness drugs before she was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

Dr Foster said: “I would like to say a big thank you to the bus driver, who was extremely helpful - keeping the woman as comfortable as possible, before the emergency services arrived.”
