The 63-year-old woman who died after being hit by a lorry in Huntingdon has been named as Mary Bastille.

Ms Bastille, of Lucas Court, Huntingdon, was seriously injured in the accident on St Peter’s Road, at the Tower Close junction, at 1.10pm on Wednesday, April 30.

She was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where she died in the early hours of Tuesday.

  • You was such a lovely caring person who always had a smile on your face. You will be missed by so many people that knew you. I will miss you loads as you was my boss and also a good friend. You looked after me and took good care with me and could speak to you about anything, you was like a second mother to me and I will never forget you. The angels will look after you Mary.
