Pupils at Crosshall Infant School got creative by designing their dream homes as part of a competition.
From immaculate houses with butterfly-filled gardens to a football-themed house and a train, the children used their imaginations to create the pictures for St Neots estate agents Giggs & Company.
The winner in the Reception category was Maison Izzard, while Mia Wilcock took first place in Year 1 and Morgan Cook in Year 2. The overall winner was reception pupil Sophie Tipping-Laird. They were each given a £10 book voucher, and the school received a £100 voucher, which were presented to the pupils by company owner Matthew Giggs on Thursday (June 26). Sophie’s drawing also appears on a leaflet which the company has distributed.
Vanessa Parker, headteacher’s PA at the school, said: “We did have some amazing and beautiful designs. The pupils were absolutely thrilled – they were very proud winners.”
Natalie Brookman, general manager at Giggs & Company, said: “I thought they were brilliant – they really put a good effort in. Some of the drawings that they turned out were absolutely fantastic.”
She added that they will be running the competition with Priory Junior School in the autumn term, followed by other schools in the area in the future.
