Rail delays after overhead wire problems between St Neots and Hitchin

OVERHEAD wire problems between St Neots and Hitchin have caused delays on train services this morning (Thursday, January 31).
The line has now reopened but First Capital Connect is warning of delays of up to 15 minutes on trains between Huntingdon and London King’s Cross.
“An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed,” a spokesman for the rail operator said.
“Customers are advised to add an additional 15 minutes to their journey times.”
