A WOMAN died and another person was injured in a fatal smash on the Al on Friday (January 25).
A WOMAN died and another person was injured in a fatal smash on the Al on Friday (January 25).
The accident happened on the southbound carriageway at the Diddington junction – just south of Buckden.
Barbara Woldarczyk, 47, of The Street, Diddingdon was driving a VW Golf when it collided with an Audi A3 driven by a 23-year-old man from Kent who suffered injuries.
Police believe she pulled out of the junction into the fast land of the A1.
Sgt Nigel Jennings, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident.”
