Men arrested on suspicion of diesel theft

SUSPECTED fuel thieves were arrested at Godmanchester after diesel was stolen from several lorries over the weekend.

Two men aged 24 and 22 were arrested on the A1198 at 4.20am on Monday (October 15) on suspicion of theft after fuel was siphoned from vehicles in Dry Drayton in the early hours of the same day.

Diesel was also taken from a lorry parked in a lay-by on the A11 near Wentways between 10pm on Saturday (October 13) and 7.30am on Sunday (September 14).
