One crew from Ramsey and one from Stanground were called to St Mary’s Road at 11.42am, where a vehicle was on its roof in a ditch.

Using specialist cutting equipment they freed the woman, who was cared for by the ambulance service and Mapgas.

She suffered a minor head injury and did not need hospital treatment.

At 1.15pm, a crew from Huntingdon and St Ives rushed to the scene of a crash in St Audrey Lane, St Ives.

A woman in her 20s was cut free from her vehicle, before the ambulance service took her to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for treatment of an ankle injury.
