Brampton pub reopens a week after closing

JUST a week after closing, the Dragoon, in Brampton, has reopened.

Temporary manager Tamara Doole was drafted in on Saturday (July 7) to take over the pub until it can find a new manager. The pub was closed on June 30 by the previous tenant.

She said: “It just shows the level of commitment that Charles Wells has to the community by reopening as quickly as it has.”

Although the pub is serving a full range of cask beers, lagers, wines and spirits, food is off the menu while the company refurbishes the kitchen for the new tenants, who are expected to take over next month.
