The hunt is on to find the owner of the ticket, which was bought in Huntingdonshire, that matches five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday, November 23.

The winning numbers were 12,16, 22, 35, 38 and 48 with the bonus ball 15.

If no-one come forward before the prize claim deadline on May 22 next year then the money, plus the interesy, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

INFORMATION: Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

  • It will always remain an undeniable fact that the only way to positively guarantee winning the lottery is to get the numbers on your ticket to match the actual drawn numbers. Pity it's so hard to know that in advance! I believe very many wins are from quick picks (lucky dips). There's a personal quick pick predictor available online. Search for VillaLibra lucky numbers and see if you can locate it. Only for fun of course, but you never know...
