A pile of rubbish is believed to have been set on fire in Gamlingay Woods yesterday evening.

One crew from Gamlingay were called to the area, just off the B1040 in Gamlingay, at 8.34pm.

They used hose reels to extinguish the flames before returning to their stations by 9.10pm.
