Firefighters tackled a van fire in Brampton which could be seen from the A14 last night (Thursday).

Two fire engines from Huntingdon were called to Thrapston Road at 11.10pm. Wearing breathing apparatus, they used two hose reels to extinguish the flames.

The crews left the scene at midnight.
