Firefighters battle blaze at a garage in Perry

Firefighters tackled a garage fire in Perry in the early hours of this morning.

One crew from Huntingdon and one crew from Kimbolton were called to Blythe Green at 1.42am, where they used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the flames. They also used specialist equipment to remove smoke from the area.

The electricity board attended to repair damage to the power supply, before the incident was brought under control at 2.41am.

Crews were back at base by 3.34am.
