Firefighters battled a building fire in Alconbury Weston yesterday evening (Wednesday).

One crew from Huntingdon and one crew from Sawtry were called to the scene on Buckworth Road at 11.59pm. Wearing breathing apparatus, they tackled the blaze using a jet and a hose reel, plus additional water pumps.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
