Daytime arson attack on large tree in Huntingdon

Arsonists targeted a large tree on a Huntingdon playing field.

A crew from the town was called to the field off Stoney Close at 2.50pm yesterday (Tuesday).

They extinguished the flames using a hose reel before returning to base by 3.15pm.
