A car overturned after a crash with a lorry on the A14.

The accident happened at just after 1pm today (June 10) on the eastbound carriageway at junction 23 for Spittals Interchange, leaving a Volkswagen Polo blocking one lane.

A police spokesman said that there were not thought to be any serious injuries.

The carriageway was reopened by 1.20pm but the vehicle is still to be recovered.
