A car left the road and crashed into the trees on the A14, following a collision with a lorry.

Police were called to the westbound carriageway between junction 27 for Fenstanton and junction 26 for St Ives at 8.10am this morning (Thursday).

One lane was closed, which has now been reopened. The vehicle has been recovered in the last few minutes and delays are now clearing.

A police spokesman said that there “doesn’t appear to be any injuries”.
