A convicted drug dealer has been ordered to pay back £50 despite benefiting from a total of nearly £26,000 from his criminal activity, a court heard.

Robert Booth was jailed for four-and-a-half years after admitting two counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, one of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply, possession of a class C drug, assault with intent to resist arrest and escaping from lawful custody.

Booth, of no fixed abode, was arrested in St Ives in October after he assaulted a police officer and ran off.

He was traced to a house in Ramsey Road where officers found 51 bags of cocaine, 28g of cannabis and 13g of ketamine.

Booth, who was 21 when he was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court in January, was back at the same court on Friday (April 4) for a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing.

He was said to have had a total benefit of £25,815 from his crimes but his realisable assets were worth just £50.

He was ordered to pay £50 within 28 days.
