A fallen tree is blocking the road between Godmanchester and the Offords this afternoon (Friday).

The tree fell onto West Road, at the Berry Lane junction, at 1.40pm, blocking the route in both directions.

Police have closed the road and the Cambridgeshire highways team has been called.

The road was reopened at 4pm.

A Huntingdonshire resident was scammed out of £10,000 by a man posing as a police officer.
