A Brampton woman has won a painting project for a family snack brand.

Catherine Harness, from Brampton has been commissioned by a national brand for a painting project.

The Peterborough based business, commissioned the Huntingdonshire artist Catherine Harness to pain rocks as part of the growing trend of rock hunting.

The brand specialises in healthy snacks for children, and is keen to encourage families to be more active.

The rocks have been sent to 25 locations across the country including a number in Cambridgeshire to encourage families to go out and find them.

Catherine painted Lily, Todd, Hettie, Max and the Fruit Bowl logo which have now been hidden for children and families to find and re-hide. Each time they find a rock they are encouraged to share the photo of their find and will be entered into a prize draw to win a picnic hamper and other prizes.

Catherine, who works as an art teacher at The Ivo school in St Ives said: “My children have been taking part in Brampton rocks and it was wonderful to be part of this project, I thoroughly enjoyed painting the rocks and am delighted to see them being found and shared all over the country”.
