Arsonists set fire to trees in Papworth Everard.

One crew from Papworth and one from Huntingdon were called to an open space close to the old tennis courts off Chequers Lane at 6.36pm on Saturday (May 17).

The fire involved conifer trees measuring about 40ft and firefighters extinguished the flames using two hose reels.

Crews returned to their stations by 7.32pm.
