Arsonists set fire to a wooded area in Papworth Everard.

A crew from Papworth were called to Papworth Woods, near the allotments, at 6.17pm yesterday (Wednesday).

A fire involving 2msq or trees was extinguished by firefighters before they returned to their stations at 7.20pm.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
