Arrest made in connection with stabbing of teenager in Yaxley

Officers investigating an assault on a 15-year-old boy in Yaxley on Monday evening (August 14) have made an arrest.

A 20-year-old man, from Peterborough, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.

The assault took place in Park Close, with the victim receiving serious but not life threatening injuries.
