A14 Campaign Petition
This road is now one of the region’s most congested routes. Minor accidents the A14 cause huge delays on almost a daily basis. Larger accidents bring most of Cambridgeshire grinding to a halt. This has gone on for too long now and investment is needed to make the A14 a road capable of coping with increasing demands – for the sake of the residents who have to travel it each day – and for the good of Huntingdonshire’s economy.
We want commitments to:
- Secured funding for a new A14
- A solution delivered before 2020

NORTH West Cambridgeshire MP Shailesh Vara this week gave his backing to The Hunts Post’s campaign to revive a scheme to relieve congestion on the A14 in Cambridgeshire – and the issue could be debated in the House of Commons as the petition is now on the Downing Street website.
