Class A and B drugs have been discovered after the occupants of a Mercedes were detained in Stevenage.
On Saturday night (May 4), Hertfordshire police spotted the vehicle in the Symonds Green area.
In an attempt to escape officers, the driver pulled into an industrial estate and abandoned the vehicle.
However, the car's four occupants were detained and searched by police before both class A and B drugs were found.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Another busy night shift for Stevenage Police Intervention/Response Team Three
"In between responding to emergencies, officers on proactive patrols sighted this Mercedes in Symonds Green.
"The driver tried to evade officers by driving onto an industrial estate and abandoning the vehicle, but the four occupants were detained, searched, and found in Possession of class A and class B Drugs.
"The vehicle was seized."
