Diana Whelan, a care home resident at The Chase in Huntingdon, celebrated her 78th birthday in a very memorable way.
Diana has a lifelong passion for horses - she received her first pony as a child, competed in British style riding, dressage events, and even offered horse therapy for people with disabilities.
She spent time volunteering at the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and offered one-to-one lessons for local people living with disabilities.
In recent years it hasn't always been easy for Diana to keep up with her passion.
She has been unable to ride her horses, and while she still spends time with them, looking after them has become difficult for her.
However, for Diana's 78th birthday celebrations, The Chase arranged a very special and memorable day for her.
Diana, with her daughter Elizabeth, got to visit the Northbrook Equestrian Centre in St Neots where she used to volunteer.
She got herself back on a horse and spent the day horse riding at the centre, looking back fondly on her past.

Elizabeth said: "My mother lights up whenever you talk about horses, and seeing her interact with them during activities arranged by The Chase has been wonderful.
"When we set the goal of getting mum back on a horse I wasn't sure it would be possible, but it was and the sense of pride and achievement in that moment is something truly special."
