A planning application has been submitted to turn the former Barclays Bank in Ramsey into a Domino's Pizza, however, the plans have been met with a mixed response.
The proposed Domino's would be at 11A Great Whyte in Ramsey, and it has sparked different reactions from residents and councillors across the town.
Ramsey Parish Council have met the proposal with absolute refusal.
Comments submitted by Ramsey Parish Council in relation to the planning application state: "Council voted UNANIMOUSLY for REFUSAL.
"Councillors felt that the highways issues with the increase in traffic, the lack of parking at peak times (5-8pm) are reasons for the refusal."
However, comments made by a Ramsey resident to Huntingdonshire District Council say: "As a resident of Ramsey I think the addition of Domino's would be very good for the town.
"It will create jobs, offer more variety for food and allow for healthy competition with existing food vendors to keep prices affordable and competitive."
Another neighbour comment expressed concern over anti-social behaviour in the area.
It said: "There is also a strong possibility of anti-social behaviour in not only retail centre but residential.
"Also there at at least three other takeaways selling pizzas in the town."

One Ramsey resident said in a comment: "Ramsey doesn't need anymore takeaway or fast food outlets.
"It needs affordable shoe/clothes shops. A school uniform shop would be useful, or a greengrocer or fishmonger.
"Ramsey needs to be enticing people into the town centre, not pushing them to Huntingdon or Peterborough."
One recommendation was: "Instead of filling those empty spaces for more money, put a poll into Ramsey and ask what the people of Ramsey actually want, because then people will be happier about where they live."
