Man and woman taken to hospital following six-vehicle collision on A14

Two people have been rushed to hospital after a six-vehicle collision on the A14 this morning (February 14).
The incident, which took place on the westbound carriageway between J24 and J26, saw both patients – a man and a woman - treated at the scene before being taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service said their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
An air ambulance also attended, along with two ambulance crews, an ambulance officer, a rapid response vehicle, and the fire service.
Police were called just before 9am and remain at the scene, with road closures being put in place.
Multiple reports suggest the collision took place between three lorries and three cars.
A police spokesman has advised motorists to avoid the area.
