Motorists were delayed this morning after a car broke down near the Spittals junction on the eastbound carriagway of the A14.

A car broke down on the A14 this morning, causing delays for commuters.

Traffic built up on the eastbound carriageway after the gold Renault Clio broke down at about 7.55am.

The car was partially blocking the road close to the Spittals junction before it was removed at 8.20am.

All lanes are now clear.
