Police name Sawtry schoolboy found dead at home

TEACHERS, governors and pupils have sent their condolences to the family and friends of a young schoolboy who was found dead at his Sawtry home yesterday (Wednesday).

Twelve-year-old Alex Gale was discovered at a property in Beaumaris Road just after 5pm on September 4, 2008. He was a Year 8 pupil at Sawtry Community College.

A statement from the school described Alex’s death as sudden and said it had left everyone at the school saddened.
